This phrase really surprised me and made me respect the Doctor more
This quote sums up SO MUCH of the Doctor to me. It’s one of my favorite things he’s ever said. <3

Hi, anon. I’m making this rebloggable because this is something I think the entire fandom needs to see.
First thing is first, yes I ship Destiel.
And no, I do not hate Sam Winchester. You know who hates Sam Winchester? Not Destiel shippers. There may be a few Sam haters who happen to also ship Destiel but there is no connection. It’d be like saying because I ship Destiel and I don’t like veggie burgers means all Destiel shippers hate veggie burgers. There is no correlation between the two.
The blogs you see bashing Sam and spreading Sam hate while preaching Destiel? Childish, preteen idiots trying to stir wank up in the fandom. And y’know what? It’s working. Because people are so quick to jump up and demonize others in the fandom for something as stupid as which two penises they want rubbing against each other.
So, my opinion, as a Destiel shipper, on Sam Winchester is what you want?
- Sam Winchester is a hero.
- He did everything because he believed it was the right thing to do.
- He drank the demon blood because he wanted to be strong so he could save people. Ruby’s knife killed people. And catching a demon long enough to exorcise it with the verbal exorcism? Not so easy. But Sam could drag the demon out of them and kill it. He did it to save people.
- He wanted to kill Lilith. Not because he wanted to start an apocalypse, but because he wanted revenge for what she did to Dean, he wanted to stop the apocalypse.
- He is a human being who makes mistakes. We all do. It makes him more real to me than anything that he is flawed.
- He saved the fucking world.
- Billions of ungrateful fuckers who don’t even know his name. He overcame LUCIFER and jumped into the pit with him and Michael, knowing he’d be facing endless torture at their hands, to save people who didn’t even know he existed.
- He would die again and again to save his brother. How many of us can say this? After Dean went to Hell he sought out demons so he could trade places with Dean. He was willing to go to Hell for his brother.
- I don’t blame him for what happened when he was soulless. Without his soul he was all instinct, all “kill the monster” and that’s it. And I don’t blame him for not wanting the raw, bloody, tortured mess of his soul back, either. And he can’t ever forgive himself for what he did.
- Despite knowing the torture and pain and horror he would go through he willingly reabsorbed the memories of his time being soulless and in Hell because he wanted to get to Dean and Bobby, to save them.
- He never gave up on Cas.
- He kept Dean human when Dean started to become like Gordon Walker.
- And even after everything he’s done he thinks he’s a monster, that he doesn’t deserve to be happy.
Sam Winchester, the boy with the demon blood, is a better human being than I will ever be.
Azazel, Lucifer, the angels; everyone said he would destroy the world, that he would be the cause for its destruction.
And instead, Sam Winchester saved the world. He overcame the demon blood inside him, overcame his fears, overcame himself, overcame Michael, overcame the goddamn Devil inside him. And he saved the world.
I am a Destiel shipper and I love Sam Winchester. And I am far from being the only one. So stick that in your juice box and suck it.
